Yo Maps and Chile One backlashed as fans opted to support the two emerging artists Mordecai and Ace Trap

Yo Maps and Chile One are currently facing backlash from fans who have opted to support  two emerging artists Mordecai and Ace Trap. This shift in support is due to Mordecai  and Ace Trap recent rise in popularity within the music industry with some their toping singles “Fire” for Mordecai and “It’s Not Cheating for Ace Trap” respectively. According to the shift in support, musically it’s believed  Yo Maps and Chile One have become complacent in their success and are no longer producing quality music that can penetrate on international market. In contrast, Mordecai Zm and Ace Trap has been praised for their unique style and meaningful lyrics. Some fans including some other top musicians and big brands have even gone as far as to say that Mordecai Zm and Ace Trap are the future of Zambian music and that Yo Maps and Chile One should take note.

However, despite the backlash, Yo Maps and Chile One continue to have a dedicated fan base.
