Allegations Shake Lusaka as Social Media Links Local Parties to ‘Dubai-Style’ Sex Scandals

Social media in Zambia is buzzing after explosive allegations surfaced linking a Lusaka-based socialite to what online commentators are calling “Dubai-style” underground parties the kind of stories usually whispered about the UAE, not Kingsland City, where Nipa And Unilus Female Students are Paid To Do S#X Parties

At the centre of the controversy is Jonathan Kondowe, popularly known as Jonathan Kays, who is alleged to have been renting a four-bedroom apartment in Kingsland City, one of Lusaka’s most affluent neighbourhoods. According to claims circulating online, the apartment has allegedly been used to host exclusive parties that go far beyond music, drinks, and Instagram aesthetics.

A woman who claims to have attended gatherings at the apartment alleges that what initially appeared to be a normal social hangout quickly turned into something disturbing. She described the setup as resembling an “Epstein files type of arrangement,” alleging that foreign men reportedly of Nigerian and Chinese origin were frequent visitors.

“My first time there, I thought it was just drinks and normal romance,” the woman claimed. “But what I experienced was very weird. I was eventually paid and left.”

Unverified claims circulating online allege that young women, mostly students from institutions such as NIPA and UNILUS, were paid up to K10,000 per session, allegedly depending on the satisfaction of the visitors involved. These claims have not been independently verified.

The allegations have gone further, with social media users also naming several prominent business figures as alleged visitors to the Kingsland City apartment, including individuals linked to mining and hospitality businesses. No evidence has been publicly presented, and none of the individuals mentioned have issued official statements at the time of publication.

As with many online exposés, reactions have been split. Some Zambians are calling for investigations, others are urging caution, and many are questioning how such stories have allegedly gone unchecked in a city as small and interconnected as Lusaka.

For now, these remain allegations circulating on social media, but the story has already sparked wider conversations about exploitation, accountability, and how far influencer lifestyles may go behind closed doors.

Whether this blows over or opens a bigger can of worms remains to be seen but Lusaka is watching. 👀
